Our Team

Dr. Becker joined the team as an assistant while still in high school. He graduated from Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in the spring of 2022. Dr. Becker purchased Orchard Veterinary Care in August of 2025. He most enjoys performing surgery on cattle and has a special interest in equine emergency medicine and equine dentistry.

Dr. Cascie began working at Orchard Veterinary Care in 2021. She graduated from Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023 where she began her career as a veterinarian. Dr. Cascie most enjoys providing client education and the wide variety of patients and cases she gets to see everyday.

Dr. Harley joined OVC in December of 2025. He earned his undergraduate degree from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina in 2020 before continuing his education at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated in 2024. He enjoys the fast-paced and challenging nature of emergency medicine and enjoys working on urgent and critical cases. While he is happy to treat a wide variety of species, he has a special interest in swine and feline medicine. 

Dr. Katy returned to Orchard Veterinary Care as a DVM at the beginning of 2021. She is a graduate of Ohio State University and Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Katy's favorite part about OVC is working with our feline patients.

Katrina has been with Orchard since the fall of 2023. She has over 12 years of experience working with many species of animals. Katrina enjoys performing venipuncture and has a special interest in shelter medicine and neglect cases and loves to see the transformation into healthy pets.

Tabby started at Orchard in the fall of 2025. She went to Bradford in Columbus and obtained her license 11 years go. She grew up showing horses and dogs and always knew she wanted to work with animals. Her favorite things about working here is monitoring anesthesia, helping with emergencies and hospitalized cases, and educating clients. 

Shelly joined OVC at the end of 2015. She comes to us with several years of customer service experience and she enjoys interacting with all of our clients and patients. She loves to watch our patients grow from puppy and kittenhood into their adult years.

Sherry began working with Orchard in the summer of 2020. She graduated from The Ohio State University. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 1995. She is one of the founders of WAHS and runs the Trap-Neuter-Return program for stray cats in our community. Sherry's favorite part about her work at OVC is seeing all the different types of pets come in.​

Betsy started working at OVC in the fall of 2025. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2007. She finds joy in building relationships with clients and their pets. Her favorite thing about working at Orchard is that it is very unpredictable and you never know what will walk through the door next.

Niquie began working with our team in the fall of 2022. She graduated high school with her certificate as a CVA. One of her favorite parts of her job is phlebotomy. She enjoys learning about and assisting in the treatment of the various species we care for.​

Kailey began her career with Orchard at the beginning of 2021. She graduated from Wilmington College with a Bachelor's in Animal Science, and obtained her CVA certification in 2023. She loves radiology and taking X-rays on both small animal and equine patients.​

Faith started with OVC in the spring of 2022.  She earned her CVA certificate in the fall of 2023. Faith enjoys surgery and anesthesia assisting, especially on C-sections. She also has a special interest in assisting the doctors with behavioral cases.

Mariah joined our team at the end of 2022.  She graduated from Wilmington College in 2024 with a Bachelors in Animal Science, concentrating in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She is currently enrolled in Penn Fosters Veterinary Technician program to further her education and hands-on experience. She loves working with all animals and especially enjoys working with cattle and assisting with bovine caesarians. ​​​

Mikayla joined OVC in 2024 as one of our kennel techs. She is currently a student at Wilmington College where she studies Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She has a special place in her heart for retrievers and hopes to become a mixed-animal veterinarian.

Alli came to Orchard in the fall of 2025. She graduated with her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2025 and plans to sit for the VTNE in January! Her favorite things are phlebotomy and placing IV catheters. She loves learning about all species and being able to advocate for her patients.

Josie joined Orchard in February of 2026 as an assistant. She graduated from Wilmington College in May of 2026 with her degree in Animal Science.  Her favorite part of working at OVC is the wide variety of animals we see and learning everything she can from the Doctors and other staff. She hopes to become a mixed animal veterinarian one day!​

Haley is currently a junior at Clinton-Massie High school attending Laurel Oaks for the animal science program and Sinclair Community College. She plans to continue her education and hopes to become a veterinarian one day!

Grace is currently a student at Wilmington College studying biology and on the pre-vet track. She hopes to be an equine or large animal veterinarian one day.
